Saturday 3rd October saw the PES 2009 European Championships take place in Nice, the south of France.

As the leader of the official UK PES fan site, Mark Bamber was in attendance to undertake several key tasks – such as content coverage for the PESFan and PESRankings communities and partaking in a roundtable with Konami’s Shingo Takatsuka.

The content included photos, videos and interviews, which was received very positively among our userbase, PESFan and PESRankings being the only Pro Evolution Soccer websites in the UK to have provided live updates on the event.

PESRankings has organised gaming events at locations including Old Trafford, Villa Park and Emirates Stadium, but it’s interesting to see the methods used in other territories to achieve the same results.
